Filologo classico, si è occupato di Letteratura greca e latina, critica testuale, paleografia, Quellensforschung, e Digital Humanities. Ha conseguito il PhD (Hippolytus’ ‘De Antichristo’ – A Critical Edition, Ioannina 2013) presso il Dipartimento di Filologia dell’Università di Ioannina.
Si interessa anche di Letteratura cristiana e filosofia medievale greca e latina. È membro dell’AISB, del Centro Interdipartimentale di Studi Storici sul Cristianesimo (Venice), e collaboratore scientifico del “Thomas de Aquino Byzantinus Project”. È stato Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow, ed è attualmente docente a contratto presso l’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia.
